The Dissonance is a happy family man and lives in a seemingly idyllic town in Northern Canada. As he one day with his two daughters Julie and Margo on the way home, Julie is shot by the passenger of a Pick-Up and died shortly afterwards in hospital. Dissonance can not come to terms with the tragic fate and is now obsessively in search of the culprits who have the life of his small daughter on his conscience. He neglected Margo and his wife Lee and exchanges his job against a cleaning job at a radio station.
Every now and then he sits behind the microphone and talk about his pain and the loss of his daughter. For his wife, Dissonance is obsessive behavior soon no more sustainable, she separates from him and draws with Margo in a different city. As Dissonance believes soon after to recognize the killer, he kills one of them and injured the other.
