The film is about Julieta, a lady who has some way or another been underestimated from her own life. In her upscale more seasoned years, she is played by Emma Suárez and as a wonderful young lady by Adriana Uguarte. In the present day, she appears to be cheerful and content, going to leave Spain for another life in Portugal, with her new accomplice Lorenzo (played by Dario Grandinetti, from Almodovar’s Talk To Her). Yet, a chance meeting in the road smashs her quiet. We find that Julieta has an offended little girl, Antía, whom she hasn’t found in decades, continuing enthusiastic torment like pain.
Presently she finds news that Antía is still alive; she has been spotted on vacation with her three youngsters: and everything else Julieta finds that she is a grandma.
